This family session was done at the beginning of the month, just before Hurricane Isaias came through the area. I’ve known this family for forever, and I was super excited to take their photos while they visited Sunset Beach. Sunset is less than an hour from Myrtle Beach and it was well worth the trip up there to see them and do this session. We got some beautiful photos, and fortunately we took them before the storm came! I don’t think anyone thought the storm would be “that bad,” but this family’s vehicle was flooded and had to be totaled. The beach house they were staying in flooded some downstairs. Fortunately they were upstairs and were all safe! The dunes were also heavily damaged. Again though, they were all safe and that’s what really matters! These are my favorite photos from the session.
Momma and Three Sons
This Momma came on vacation with her three sons. It was just her and her boys. She is one brave Momma! I think they made some memories to last a lifetime though! The exuberance these boys had for the beach was so great to see. They had a ton of energy and just as much sweetness! These are my favorites from the session!
Daddy and Daughter
This Daddy and his little girl were just adorable. They have a lot of love for each other and we got some really cute shots. Rain was in the forecast but thankfully it held out and we were able to get some amazing photos. Some of my favorites from the session are below!
